Willow City was founded by an English-speaking preacher in the 1870s. In the late 1800s the town was starting to boom. It consisted of 3 general stores, a drug store, a hotel, two blacksmiths, a newspaper, a school, a church, and a cotton gin. The town was home to outlaws, ranchers, and others who made their fortune in cotton. Today, 150 years later, the area is still a great community with a number of gems including the wonderful neighbors, historic homes, vineyards, Texas' first American Viticultural Area and home to the most scenic drive in the Hill Country - the Willow City Loop. We are wanting to do something special for the community and all the visitors to the area. This is a Willow City revival opportunity!!!
